How to Select Left vs Right – Foolproof Guide

Forget the confusing “driver side / passenger side” logic. Here is the only rule you need:

1. Stand on your scooter in your normal riding position (feet on the deck, hands on the handlebar).

2. Look down at your feet.

   • If the light is going to be mounted under your left foot, choose Left.

   • If it's going under your right foot, choose Right.

Reference Landmarks (for double-checking):

• Left Side = The same side where your kickstand is located (usually) and where your rear foot operates the deck brake.

• Right Side = The throttle/gas pedal side, usually where the rear disc brake rotor is visible.

Why we designed it this way: The projection angle and bracket are calibrated differently for left and right mounting to ensure the HALO KNIGHT logo projects perfectly square onto the pavement, not crooked.
